Money in Brazil
Money unit of Brazil - the Brazilian real (BRL). It shares on 100 sentavo. In a course of a coin of denomination in 1, 5, 10, 25, 50 centavo and 1 real, and also banknotes of denomination in 1, 5, 10, 50 and 100 reals.
The Brazilian real (from an armour. nummus regalis - the royal coin) has been entered instead of the previous money unit of Federal Republic Brazil cruzeiro (=100 сентаво).
The parity of the Brazilian real and dollar varies 1usd = 1.615 BRR, or is 1 real = to 14 roubles (27.06.2008).
Import and export of local currency is not limited. Import of a foreign currency is not limited (more $1000 it is necessary to declare). To take out it is possible no more $4000 on the person (for export of the greater sum the sanction of the Central bank of Brazil is required).
It is duty-free possible to import the goods for the sum no more $500. The foreign currency and tourist checks is better to change in banks or changes.
