From 2001 the focus of the attentions started to be the green surrounding the entire beach. Brazil discovered that to walk on the biggest beachfront garden of the planet was not a privilege of first world. By incredible that it seems, this pleasure can be enjoyed at 72 km from the capital Sao Paulo.

Santos is a great city for a vacation. There are some interesting things to do. You can have fun seeing the fish at the aquarium, walking for the parks or shopping downtown. In Santos there are also many beautiful beaches, where you can play volleyball, drink some coconut water or swim and dive in the sea (it’s necessary to remember to wear sun block).

The city has a good transportation – you can take a bus or a taxi – and the cost of living is affordable. In the city there is light pollution and there isn’t much crime. The weather is hot. Santos is not a very clean city.

Created by the approval of Complementary Law nº 542, September 27th, 2005, the International Affairs Advisory has as its main attribution to project the city of Santos in the International scenario and to make contact with international entities. It also works as an instrument of support and help of technical advisory in international affairs and international law to all projects developed by Santos City Hall, including all the Secretariats where international participation is envolved.
